Repairs, re-roofs, maintenance and new installs for homes and businesses.
When a roof starts letting in water, you want a roofer who answers the phone, turns up when they say they will and tells you straight what the problem is. That's how we work.
We look at the whole roof, not just the obvious leak, and show you what we find with photos. You get a clear written quote before anything starts, and a tidy site when we finish.
Whether it's one slipped slate or a full re-roof, a sagging gutter or a flat roof that keeps pooling water, we handle the job from scaffold to clean-up.
Flat roofs on extensions, garages and dormers take the worst of Cork's rain. We repair and replace them using three proven systems: EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass and torch-on felt. We'll tell you which one suits your roof and budget, and whether a repair will do the job.
Bring more daylight into attics, landings and kitchens. We fit new Velux and other roof windows in pitched roofs, replace old or leaking units, and install skylights and glazed roof lanterns on flat roofs, with the flashing done properly so they stay dry.
Rotting timber fascias and leaking gutters let water into walls and attics. We replace them with low-maintenance uPVC that never needs painting.
Chimneys stand in the path of every storm, and the joint where the stack meets the roof is one of the most common places for a leak to start. We repoint and rebuild stacks, fit caps and cowls, and replace worn lead so the water stays out.

A roof is a system. Slates, battens, membrane, flashing and ventilation all have to work together, so we look at every layer before we recommend a fix.
From one slipped slate to a full re-roof or a new flat roof on an extension, we give every job the same care.

What a new roof or regular maintenance does for your home.
A clean, sound roof lifts the look of the whole house, and buyers notice.
Fixing small problems early stops them turning into a full re-roof.
A watertight, well-insulated roof keeps the heat in and the bills down.
Stopping leaks early protects ceilings, walls, insulation and wiring.
Routine checks cost far less than emergency repairs after a storm.
Secure slates, ridges and flashing hold up when Atlantic storms reach Cork.
Yes. We look at the roof, explain what we found and give you a written quote with no obligation to go ahead.
Often, yes. Send clear photos of the problem on WhatsApp and we can usually give you a guide price, or tell you if we need to see it in person first.
If the damage is limited to a few slates, a ridge or a flashing, a repair usually makes sense. If slates are failing across the roof, the membrane underneath has perished or leaks keep coming back, a re-roof is often better value over time. We'll show you what we find so you can decide.
All three last well when they're fitted properly. EPDM rubber is a single sheet with no joints and suits most extensions and garages. GRP fibreglass gives a hard, seamless finish that copes with foot traffic. Torch-on felt is a proven multi-layer system and often the most economical. We'll recommend one based on your roof's size, shape and use.
Replacing a roof with similar materials usually doesn't need planning permission in Ireland. Protected structures, homes in architectural conservation areas and changes to the height or shape of a roof can. If you're unsure, check with Cork City Council or Cork County Council before work starts.
Put a bucket under the drip and move anything valuable out of the way. If water is near a light fitting or socket, switch off that circuit at the fuse board. Then call us and we'll arrange to make the roof safe.
